Third In-person Scientific Meeting

The SPARK Team gathered in Kilifi, Kenya for the third in-person scientific meeting from the 29th January to the 2nd February 2024.

The meeting kicked-off with a booster training for the CST supervisors, master trainers, and non-specialist facilitators led by Dr Erica Salomone, CST-consultant and one of the WHO CST intervention developers.

Although updates were shared on all aspects of the project, the meeting focused heavily on the trial, phase 2 of the SPARK project, which was due to begin shortly afterwards. Sub-teams outlined preparations made, and the challenges and gaps that emerged in the process. Together, we worked to identify strategies to address these identified gaps and challenges.
