SPARK First Project Advisory Committee Meeting

The SPARK Team held its first Project Advisory Committee meeting on 21st October 2021 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The committee was established to allow community representatives from health and education sectors to share their input on how SPARK activities are conducted. In the first of many successful meetings, team members introduced the SPARK project and study to local stakeholders and outlined its goals of improving community identification of children with developmental disabilities. The session involved discussions on future training plans, study tools and recommendations for subsequent meetings. It was an exciting milestone in the SPARK project’s journey.
